Kaal Sarp Yantra, Japa Mala, Betel Nut, Vermilion, idols of Lord Ganesh and Goddess Lakshmi etc. are the primary requirements.

Other ingredients like lamps, incense, rice grains, bhasma, ghee, mouli etc are also necessary for the successful completion of Kal Sarp puja.
